Who is Steve Gideon?

By nature, I am a planner. As a student, math, sociology, and philosophy were my favorite subjects, so it was virtually inevitable for me to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Investment Manager. I doubt I will ever tire of being a sounding board for friends and clients for all things financial. I also enjoy collaborating with my team which consists of staff in the Tumwater office, Keating and Associates, Raymond James and most importantly, the client. I have multiple registrations and licenses, but my most important credential is my decades worth of experience with a very eclectic group of clients.

In 1981 I moved from the Midwest to WA for one reason: to immerse myself in the incredible nature of the Pacific Northwest. I love to hike, snowshoe, backpack, kayak and even still bag a peak or two! I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Social Sciences from Washington State University.

My wife Glenna and I married in 1987, and we worked together for 22 years until her volunteer work compelled her retirement. Together we enjoy hosting, traveling, and laughing. In my opinion, laughter IS the best medicine and a universal language.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Who is Jordan Dowers?

My greatest passion as a financial advisor is working with clients to develop strategies that will help them achieve their unique financial goals. I appreciate knowing the impact this can have on my clients in empowering them to reach their goals for the future.

Upon graduating from Evangel University with a degree in Finance, I moved back to Washington to start my career as a financial advisor. In 2017 I joined Steve, and our partnership has developed into the “dynamic duo”. Our “goal-based investing” strategy and team approach allows us to work with clients to develop a roadmap to live the life clients want.

I was born in Alaska and moved to WA in 1996 with my family. My wife, Leah, and I got married in 2014, welcomed our son, Prescott, in 2019, and welcomed our son, Jaxon, in 2022. Family is my priority. I enjoy playing soccer, golf, or watching the Oregon Ducks.
